Yevhen Piskunov. The Hero's Way

The hero of this exhibition is a person making their way through the trials of time, loss, growing up, responsibility, and self-discovery. It is an image of inner strength, resilience, and the ability to remain true to one's values.

In Yevhen Piskunov's works, the hero takes on many different forms. He is a boy who has encountered the reality of war far too early and lost the carefree innocence of childhood. He is a knight who chooses loyalty to his principles every day. She is a woman who finds the strength to protect life, support her loved ones, and remain a source of hope even in the darkest times. The hero is also a person discovering their true self, finding their place of strength and inner balance.

The characters in these works exist on the boundary between reality and myth. They echo the heroes of ancient legends while also embodying the contemporary individual. Their struggle unfolds both in the external world and within themselves — in the daily choice to preserve humanity, the capacity to love, to empathize, to remember, and to dream.

"The Hero's Way" is a story about the inner strength of the human spirit, the path of personal transformation, and spiritual growth. It is about the courage to remain true to oneself when the world around us is changed forever.
