On September 19, 2025, the NU ART gallery will open a solo exhibition of the outstanding artist Volodymyr Sydoruk (1925–1997). It was initiated by the gallery and the artist's family.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the master's birth, which passed on January 3, and is intended to cover all periods of the painter's work. In 1985, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine for his contribution to Ukrainian culture.
The exhibition features over 60 paintings and graphic works, revealing to viewers the diversity of genres and motifs that V. Sydoruk worked with. Landscape painting occupies a place of honor in the artist's work—here you will see intimate and epic landscapes that celebrate the beauty of the Kyiv region, the Carpathians, and Armenia.
The artist had a special attitude toward still life: hollyhocks, chrysanthemums, sunflowers, thistles... The diverse, poetically and skillfully painted flowers are an exquisite decoration of this exhibition and demonstrate V. Sydoruk's love and attention to the smallest details of nature.
The genre compositions and portraits, which express admiration for national themes and literary plots, deserve special attention.
All works are united by a single story and curatorial vision, so we are pleased to invite you to enjoy the majestic and harmonious art of Volodymyr Sydoruk!
The exhibition will open on September 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The curators of the exhibition are Anastasia Seitasanova and Olena Sydoruk.
It will run until October 25, 2025.
