The Banks. Kateryna Svirgunenko and Olivier Thillye

"The Banks" is a joint exhibition by Ukrainian graphic artist Kateryna Svirgunenko and
French photographer Olivier Thillye. Their visual art practices resonate in their approaches and visions, as well as in the themes they work with.

One of the fundamental unifying genres in their work is landscape.
Both grew up on the banks of large rivers: the mighty Dnieper and the capricious Loire,
which inevitably influenced their focus on landscape themes — rivers and their banks. The works presented at the exhibition continue the series that both artists had been working on before they met in early 2024.
