"Landscape is at once the most changeable and the most enduring component of your memory.
It is the longest line of continuity of experience. Return becomes possible not because space remains unchanged — the landscape preserves the trace of our presence while simultaneously retaining the ability to be recognized despite war, the dust of time, and even the slow fading of our bodies."
— Rostyslav Luzhetskyi.
The exhibition at Zelena Kanapa Gallery will feature paintings and graphic works created over the last six years. One of the works was previously presented as part of the group exhibition project Orizzonti ("Horizons") in Switzerland, organized by the Zenovii Kozytskyi Charitable Foundation in 2023. The remaining works will be exhibited in Ukraine for the first time.
The exhibition opening will take place on May 26 at 6:00 PM.
