The artist, Oleksandra Bilobran, began her journey in painting relatively recently. A graduate of the Department of Fashion Design at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, she initially worked in fashion design and served as an art manager for several gallery projects, including "Yarovit" (2007–2013) and "Lemish" (2011–2012), while always dreaming of painting. She was supported by Borys Buriak, a painter who also possesses a strong talent for mentorship.

Today, Oleksandra — as both a mother and an artist — naturally, and through a focus on Ukrainian identity in society, depicts female figures characteristic of classical Ukrainian art. Her woman embodies great love, protection, reliability, and faith. She is the guardian of traditions.
Prior to this series, Oleksandra Bilobran mainly worked on landscapes, and now her female figures appear within suburban natural surroundings.
The exhibition will feature 13 new works from the series "Honoring Traditions", which the artist has been developing since 2023. The series already includes around one hundred canvases and has been presented at group exhibitions in Paris, Lutsk, and Lviv, as well as at two solo exhibitions in Austria.
The exhibition opening will take place on March 28 at 18:00. You are warmly invited!
