Painting

These paintings began as memories of a peaceful life. About simple things that seemed eternal — walks, travels, silence, greenery, the sun on your face, serenity.

They contain a moment of frozen time, when it seemed that the world was stable and life was predictable.

But the war destroyed this feeling. What used to seem ordinary has now acquired a painful depth.

The colors remained bright, but something else shines through them: anxiety, the presence of an invisible threat, a rift between peace and reality.

This exhibition is an attempt to look at the "before" through the eyes of a person who has already seen the "after".

This is not nostalgia. It is a memory of the vulnerability and, at the same time, the strength of the human spirit, which, despite everything, continues to see beauty, love for life, and hold on.
