Spiegel Hand Residenzen is a long-term residency program founded in 2023 by German artist Paul Maciejowski. The initiative fosters collaboration between German and Ukrainian artists by facilitating residencies for German artists in Ukraine while supporting the work of Ukrainian artists.
The exhibition highlights a collaboration that has evolved over the past three years in the studios of the Kyiv Institute of Automation at 22 Nahirna Street, where the Nahirna 22 artistic community was formed.
The exhibition project "At One Table" demonstrates the resilience of Ukrainian artistic communities during russia's full-scale invasion, the opportunities and effectiveness of international dialogue, and the willingness of partner countries to support artists seeking a deeper understanding of the realities of Ukraine's cultural life during wartime.
The project is realized in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Ukraine.
