From August 15, the Lviv Cultural Hub hosts a group exhibition of emerging artists, "Growth".
"By 2026, no one who deeply explores the role of art in society doubts that art during wartime is not only possible, but necessary. (...)
What, then, are the seeds of emerging artists growing from this ground in Ukraine today? What questions do artists ask themselves, and what answers do they offer society? What matters for reflection and contemplation? How does art contribute to a person’s growth or survival? Through art therapy, catharsis, or escapism?
The exhibition project Growth seeks to capture a non-representative snapshot of the work of emerging artists who are ‘growing’ during the Russian-Ukrainian war in Ukraine..." — Olesia Domaradzka, exhibition curator.
The exhibition will feature works by artists selected through the Budding Artists Support Programme Open Call:
Yevheniia Hryhorian
