Lavra Gallery opens the solo exhibition of Ivanna Orliuk, "GEMATRIA | 75131201891", which explores the transformation of the global financial system through the prism of numbers. A series of ten canvases combines art and technology, turning digits from 0 to 9 into symbols of old and new financial protocols — from the traditional SWIFT system to the universal ISO 20022 standard and the world of cryptocurrencies.
Gematria is a system of synchronicities in which each letter of the alphabet has a numerical equivalent.
The exhibition consists of three locations, reflecting the stages of the transformation of money, the financial system, and cryptocurrencies.
It is a story of transition from the material form of money — to digital energy and the universal protocol of the future.
"Gematria is my personal story about global energetic financial transformation. From paper and metal to blockchain and digital flows — art becomes the language of a new reality," says the project’s author, Ivanna Orliuk.
Location I — Gematria
Letters as a universal language are transformed into numbers that form the numerical architecture of the codes of being.
Location II — Between Matter and Code
The transition from paper to digital value. Dollar bills, arranged serial number by number, symbolize a continuous flow — a material analogue of the blockchain.
Location III — From SWIFT to the New Standard
Here the traditional financial constant completes its cycle. It is replaced by a new language of value: money becomes data, moving in tokenized streams.
"GEMATRIA" is not only an art project but also a visual metaphor for the transition from old models to new protocols that shape the future of the global economy. The exhibition invites the viewer to see in numbers not abstraction, but a universal code of trust and interaction. Ivanna Orliuk’s project "GEMATRIA" shows how finance and art converge in the language of numbers," emphasizes the project’s curator Vlad Tuzov.
The exhibition will open on September 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Lavra Gallery, 7 Lavrskiy Lane, Kyiv.
