Empty rooms, muted evening light, open windows...
The outlines of furniture—and the silhouettes of female figures among them...
They do not tell stories. They create an atmosphere of presence—calm, focused, and free from haste.
The space of the interior and the space of the human body emerge as a single territory of inner life.
The female body here is not an object of contemplation. It becomes a personification of inner freedom, self-acceptance, and confidence in one’s own nature.
The interiors, meanwhile, are not merely a backdrop but a place where a person can remain alone with their thoughts, desires, and feelings.
In the painting series by Nataliia Korf-Ivaniuk, localized color fields shape soft female silhouettes that seem to dissolve into the air while preserving a profound sense of intimacy. These images exist on the boundary between figuration and abstraction, within the realm of personal impressions and reflections.
In Angelina Hafynets’ series of painted interiors, the world of objects gradually loses its everyday character and transforms into an emotional landscape. The interior becomes not a specific place but a psychological space of memory and inner dialogue.
Large planes of color enhance the feeling of slowed time, when attention is focused on light, rhythm, and inner experience.
Through generalized imagery, minimalist forms, mysterious depth, and at the same time the richness of color, the artists offer the viewer not a narrative but a state of being.
It is the state of a particularly intimate twilight, when space breathes more slowly, light becomes softer, and a person finds a fragile, fleeting, yet deeply desired balance between the outer and inner worlds.
