Olga Osnach

My work is an exploration of corporeality, inner states, and transformation through form.
Ceramic sculpture, for me, is a way to touch the invisible — to give shape and substance to feelings and movement.

Olga Osnach is a Ukrainian-born sculptor and visual artist based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Her sculptural practice focuses on contemporary ceramic forms shaped by an intuitive process and deep emotional resonance. Inspired by human nature, the body, and transformation, her work explores dualities - strength and fragility, love and destruction, ritual and absurdity. Through clay, she merges expressive form with psychological depth, creating figures that exist between myth and emotion.Born in Kherson in 1986, Olga began studying art at the age of five and later graduated from the Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU “KPI” in Kyiv, specializing in graphic design. Alongside her studies, she worked as a designer, illustrator, and fashion art photographer, receiving national awards in fine art photography. Around the age of twenty-five, she entered the mobile gaming industry as a 2D artist and later became an art director - a role that continues to influence her visual precision, sense of rhythm, and spatial awareness.Olga began working with ceramics five years ago. In the early stage of her practice, she studied under Ukrainian ceramic artist Yurii Musatov, gaining a strong technical foundation. Over the past four years, she has continued to evolve independently — developing her own sculptural language through constant experimentation, research, and studio work. Her hand-built pieces combine refined craftsmanship with a personal mythology that reflects on identity, transformation, and resilience. Her works have been exhibited in Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Switzerland, and are part of museum collections in Opishne, Ukraine. Since relocating to Prague after the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Olga continues to develop her independent international practice. Her sculptures convey both sensuality and strength - a reflection of the human spirit’s capacity to endure, evolve, and create beauty from tension.
