Iryna Shumeiko was born on January 6, 1991 in Lutsk. She got her first art skills at the Lutsk Children's Art School under the guidance of G.I. Sanin (2003 - 2007).

During 2009 - 2015 she studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and defended her master's degree with a draft film project based on her own script "Artifact", received a master's degree in "Fine Arts", qualified as a set designer of theater, cinema and television, researcher, teacher. She worked in the studio of Adamovych R.S.

In 2013 took part in the art action on the Maidan "Happy Future".

In 2013 was an intern in the filming of the movie "Bachelor under contract", directed by E. Matvienko.

In 2013 she was the art director of the musical "Assol" in the theater "Millennium".

In 2014, she developed sketches and storyboards for the video work "White Coffin" of designer clothes Z. Likhacheva; directed by O. Sanin.

In 2014 she worked as a scenographer of the concert dedicated to the anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birthday (scenography: Shumeiko I., Aleksandrovych F.); "Maidan in the context of the present".

In 2014 she worked as a partner organizer and was a participant of art therapy on the Maidan (7 ten-meter canvases).

In 2014 she was an intern and assistant in the art department of "Pronto film".

In 2015 she was a member of the jury at the Berdychiv Film Festival "Star City".

In 2015 she worked as an art director of the short film "Les.little drama", directed by M. Miroshnychenko.

In 2015 she worked as an art director of a short film: "Penguin Dance", directed by V. Kareba.

In 2016 she was a member of the jury at the Berdychiv Film Festival "Star City".

In 2016 she worked as an art director of the short film "Private Lesson", directed by L. Ostapovych.

In 2018, she was the production designer of the feature film "Hydra" with the support of the State Cinema with the co-production of the USA. directed by Ram Davineni.

During 2018-2019 she worked as an art director at the International Production Center For-Post.

In 2019, she worked as a production designer at DobranichFilm.

In 2019 she worked as an art director of the feature film "Your Vasyl" with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

From 2018 to 2022 she taught a course of painting and drawing in her own art studio "Lavra 7" on the territory of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
