Serhii Druziaka and Serhii Lytvynov. Quo vadis?

The title of the project refers to one of the defining questions of the modern world: Quo vadis? — Where are you going? It is a question posed not only to humanity, but also to every individual, encouraging reflection on personal choices, responsibility, and the direction of our future.

For more than three decades, Serhii Druziaka and Serhii Lytvynov have worked as a creative duo. Through their art, they explore themes of historical memory, human vulnerability, moral responsibility, and the choices upon which the future of civilization depends.

The exhibition brings together monumental paintings, watercolors, and philosophical reflections on events that have profoundly shaped the world and human consciousness. The artists address subjects such as the Chornobyl disaster, the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident, the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, and other tragedies that compel us to reconsider the fragility of human life and humanity's responsibility for its own future.

At the same time, the project extends beyond a contemplation of historical tragedy. The series Faith. Hope. Love offers a space for hope, affirming the strength of the human spirit, the capacity for inner renewal, and the possibility of preserving humanistic values even in the most difficult times.

The exhibition project Quo vadis? will be presented on the third floor of the Korsak Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art and will be one of the museum's largest events of the summer season.
