The Korsak Museum was founded with the aim of fostering the spiritual development of the nation and promoting Ukrainian art worldwide by presenting outstanding creative achievements of 20th-century artistic culture, as well as introducing visitors to contemporary art through авторські projects, installations, and performances.
The founders and inspirers behind the creation of Ukraine’s first world-class museum of contemporary Ukrainian art are the Korsak family.
The museum’s mission is to reshape the past, reflect on the present, and create the future.
Reshaping the past – we search for and research forgotten names of Ukrainian artists.
Reflecting on the present – we want visitors to enter as one person and leave as another, to change and transform through art.
Creating the future – we engage youth and children, as the future of the Ukrainian elite and the reconstruction of Ukraine are impossible without culture and art.
