Attila Kopriva

Attila Kopriva is a contemporary Ukrainian artist from Mukachevo, known for his distinctive creative style. In his works he masterfully combines elements of nature, traditional culture of Transcarpathia and modern artistic trends. His work is distinguished by a subtle play of colors, textures and shapes, which creates a deep emotional impact on the viewer. The artist actively participates in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, popularizing Ukrainian art on the world stage.

01.07.1971 – Atilla Tiberiiovych Kopryva was born in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region.

1987-1991 – after graduating from the ninth grade of high school, she studied at the Uzhhorod School of Applied and Decorative Arts, Department of Art Ceramics.

1991-1997 – continues his studies at the Lviv Academy of Arts, Department of Art Glass.

1997-2005 - teaches at the Department of Technology and Design of Garments at the Mukachevo Institute of Technology.

2004 – Founder of the Museum of Applied Arts at the Mukachevo Institute of Technology.

From 2005 to the present, he has been the head and associate professor of the Department of Fine Arts of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts.

2005 – Candidate of Arts in the specialty “Decorative and Applied Arts”.

2006 – Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

2007 – co-founder and deputy chairman of the Society of Carpathian Culture and Art (Nyiregyhaza, Hungary).

2007 – Corresponding Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

2018 – Corresponding Member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

2020 – Founder and Chairman of the Association for the Preservation and Development of Culture and Art of the Carpathian Region.
