Zenovii Flinta was born in 1935 in the village of Toki (Ternopil region)

1959 – graduated from Lviv I. Trush School of Applied and Decorative Arts, department of decorative painting.

1965 – graduated from Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, ceramics department. Teachers by specialty: Roman Selsky, Karlo Zvirinsky.

1968 – trained at the Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw Art Academies.

1965 - 1976 – worked at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts as a teacher of composition and ceramics.

1971 – headed the decorative and applied arts section of the Lviv branch of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.

1973 – participation in the International Biennale of Ceramics in Faenza (Italy).

1974 – participation in the International Biennale of Ceramics in Valoris (France).

1988 – Honored Artist of Ukraine

Died April 2, 1988.

In 1995 was founded the Regional Art Prize named after Zenoviy Flinta, which gave rise to the awarding of various art prizes, including Zenoviy Flinta in the field of decorative applied art.
