Mykhailo Pavlovych Brozhol (born June 6, 1955, Rubizhne) is a renowned Ukrainian painter.
He graduated from the Kharkiv State Art and Industrial Institute (1976–1981), where he studied under B. Kolesnyk and S. Chernychenko. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1989, he is recognized as a master of symbolic painting. His work most frequently explores the genres of the nude and still life.
Brozhol’s paintings are characterized by a generalized drawing style and vivid coloration that conveys the dynamism of life.
His solo exhibitions have been held in Kharkiv (1991, 1993, 1999, 2001, 2005, and 2013), Tel Aviv (1991), Baltimore (1995), Philadelphia (1996, two exhibitions), and Karlsruhe and Ettlingen (1997).
Since 1985, he has participated in republican, national, Soviet-era, and international exhibitions. His works are held in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
