The series of works featuring bees, Honey Heritage, symbolizes diligence and cooperation, as beehives function through the harmonious work of every member of the community. The loss of bees threatens ecosystems, just as the loss of culture threatens national identity. In both cases, preserving one’s roots is essential for the flourishing of the future.
Naivety, as a characteristic of Ukrainian art, has always been a language of sincerity and warmth. It opens a path to our traditional culture — pure, deeply connected to nature and the harmony of existence. Through simple yet symbolically rich motifs, such as flowers, one can feel this primordial sincerity and immerse oneself in the authentic beauty of our people. Honey, as a metaphor, is not only a product of culture that carries the memory of blooming fields, but also a symbol of our culture itself, preserving within it the experience of generations, their struggles, and their victories.
