The exhibition "LesyaUA" is a journey into a multilayered space of time, where history, the present, and the future reflect one another. Here, the artist appears not only as an observer, but also as a traveler, commentator, and provocateur. The figure of Lesya Ukrainka emerges as a symbol of a multidimensional Ukraine.
In the graphic series "Card Index", the author uses sharp irony to capture the phenomena of today: draft evaders, new social types, and semantic shifts. It is a kind of “rapid response art” that becomes a chronicle of social mutations.
"It was an ordinary walk until I noticed that all the signs were written in mirror reflection. From that moment, unfamiliar music with touching lyrics about love and death began playing in my headphones, and along the way I kept encountering a girl with a mysterious expression on her face. In the evening, when I returned home, I read in the news that Haharina Avenue, where I had been walking that day, had been renamed Lesya Ukrainka Avenue. I exhaled calmly, and my hand reached for the headphones again," — Igor Husev.
