«Agreement on the mutual exchange of populations in border areas»

The international agreement concluded in 1944 between the government of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and the Polish Committee for National Liberation on the evacuation of the Ukrainian population from the territory of Poland and, accordingly, the resettlement of Polish citizens from the territory of the Ukrainian SSR. After the signing of this agreement, an action of mass resettlement of the border population followed in 1944-1946.
