Andriі Kotlіarchuk, a native of Kyiv, Ukraine, was born in 1966. The artist’s creative passion began as early as in his early childhood, when he made pencil landscape and still life drawings. Later, influenced by the outstanding photographer Mykola Kozlovsky, he began to explore the beauty in everyday life, study subject photography and painting with light. Using a large-format film camera, Andriі Kotlіarchuk explored the rhythms of war during the defense of Mariupol, and later found inspiration among the pagans of the Ukrainian Polissya area.

Andriі Kotlіarchuk received education in art in 2006, when he graduated from the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts (NAMSCA). In 2021, he was granted membership in the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and since 2023 he has been a postgraduate student with the NAMSCA Department of Fine Arts.

His life motto is: "If God gave me talent, then honing that gift is my service to the Lord and to the people".

Andriі Kotlіarchuk authored two photo albums that were published by the "Mystetstvo" Publishers: "Volunteers. The Age of Heroes", 2019, and "Liberated Kyiv Region", 2024.
