Viktoriya Dubovyk

Viktoriya Dubovyk works in the fields of artistic textiles and easel painting. Her works are part of museum collections in Ukraine and Poland, as well as private collections in Ukraine, Poland, France, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Austria, Canada, the United States, and China.

Viktoriya Dubovyk was born and currently resides in Lviv, Ukraine. She graduated from the Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now the Lviv National Academy of Arts) in 1979, specializing in Artistic Textiles. During her studies, she was mentored by renowned art professors, including M.V. Tokar, I.Bodnar, V.A. Manastyrsky and V.A.Ovsiychuk.

Viktoriya began her exhibition career in 1986 and has since held over 50 solo exhibitions in Ukraine and internationally, including in Poland, Germany, and Canada. She has also participated in numerous national and international group exhibitions, symposiums, and shows.

From 1986 to 2023, Viktoriya served as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of Artistic Textiles at the Lviv National Academy of Arts. She is the author of several scientific publications on the design of artistic textiles.

A member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1992.
