Vira Olevska

As a Ukrainian artist, I strive to capture the essence of living and being alive through my art. My work is deeply personal and draws upon my own life experiences and emotions, translating them into powerful images that speak to the human experience.

Living in the modern world can be overwhelming, with an endless stream of information, responsibilities, fake news and, for Ukrainian people also dealing with russian aggression on their homeland. In times of hardship and struggle, it can be easy to lose sight of what is truly important. Through my art, I seek to reimagine and reflect upon the world around me, finding meaning and purpose in the everyday moments that make up our lives.

My paintings are a celebration of the beauty and complexity of the human experience, depicting a range of emotions and states of mind with warmth and kindness. Whether exploring the joys of everyday life or the struggles of the human condition, my art serves as a reminder of the power of perception and the importance of finding meaning and purpose in all that we do.
