The author gives the viewer the opportunity to interpret his work as they see it. Does not impose any topic. Every viewer of the picture looks at the work with his own feelings. In this way, the viewer becomes part and co-author of the picture on an emotional level.

The artist says that his periods in life are reflected in a series of his paintings. The author's works are his emotions and feelings, which are reflected on the canvas. As well as knowledge and experience that has accumulated throughout life. The first picture was a car upside down, painted a gel pen on paper, at the age of three. Since then, the artist's artistic path develops to this day.

Vasyl Kolodiy is an abstract artist based in Ukraine. Born April 8, 1992 in Ivano-Frankivsk.

2011-2017 studied at the Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAM) at the Faculty (Sacral Art), where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees.

2007-2011 studied at the Art Institute (KIPDM LNAM) in Kosiv, the Faculty of Art Painting, where he received his junior specialist degree.

2002-2007 studied at the art school in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, where he acquired an initial knowledge base in painting.

Vasily worked in the association of icon painters "OBRAZ" in the name of St. Cyprian of Kyiv. Where he painted churches and cathedrals of Ukraine and Poland from 2016 to 2020.
