Maria is a Ukrainian artist interested in metaphysical, psychological and social themes. In her practice, you can see images of mythical heroes, saints, abstract and geometric figures. They help to find answers to questions, to walk among illusions, to experience illogical experiences of disappointment, peace, love.. 

The artist prefers the modernly reinterpreted technique of ancient sacred painting, which was used in the Byzantine and Kyiv Rus periods. She graduated from the Kyiv College of Arts and Design and the Boychuk Academy with a degree in monumental art.

She lives and works in Kyiv.
