Art is the quintessence of an artist's life. ©
To briefly describe my position: my works are a means of language. I choose the medium according to my creative intention. It doesn't have to be beautiful, but it has to be skillful and reflect the content. I do not restrain myself to a certain genre.
I get aesthetic pleasure from art, its external factor, and also respect artists who raise acute issues of society with somewhat brutal provocative methods.
(I am inspired by the works of G. Richter, A. Kiefer, D. Hirst, G. Helnwein, D. Pollock, O. Renoir, E. Degas, C. Monet, E. Manet, C. Pissarro, P. Cezanne, A. Modigliani, G. Klimt. The artists are connected with the concept of existence of the all-encompassing (total) space of the world).
I am guided by the principle that everything has the right to exist. Not forgetting my responsibility as an author.
It is important for me to be honest with myself and my paintings. To do what I believe in and believe in what I do.
I remain faithful to the idea that art is a no-man's land - it belongs to everyone and at the same time to no one. For several years now, my credo has been that art is the quintessence of an artist's life. That is, it is an integral part of me.
I create works guided by an emotional impulse. I like to create works that evoke a response from the viewer, a desire to be alone with myself and the colour, when the process of contemplation turns into a kind of meditation.
And the question is always open: what will I do tomorrow? This is freedom.
