Valery Kozub belongs to that cohort of young artists whose fate and creative path are surprisingly successful. His story is atypical, because various factors are intertwined in it: amazing and fateful incidents, fantastic perseverance and work capacity, and most importantly, loyalty to the chosen path, creative restlessness, which collectively help the search and formation of a creative personality.

Valery Vasyliovych Kozub was born on June 24, 1985 in the village of Turi-Remety, Perechyn District, Zakarpattia Oblast. From 2001-2005 studying at the Uzhgorod College of Arts named after A. Erdely of the Transcarpathian Art Institute. From 2005 to 20011 studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Free Graphics, Professor A.V. Chebykin's workshop. All three diplomas with honors. In 2011, he enrolled in an assistantship-internship, from 2010 to 2017. worked in the lithography workshop (NAOMA). Since 2012, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He worked for 5 years as a teacher in the art studio at the National State University and for 2 years at the College of Arts in Kyiv.

Participant of many all-Ukrainian (more than forty) and general exhibitions (more than thirty) - Artprichal, Artimprove, "In search of truth", Easter exhibition in the Verkhovna Rada, "Great Bible", exhibition in the Ukrainian house, etc. Personal exhibitions in Ukraine (Uzhgorod "Language of Symbols", Chernivtsi "Creative Dialog", Odesa - Seaport Gallery, Kyiv - Museum "Hetmanship", in the exhibition hall of NAOMA, cafes "City", "Kiflyk", "Cafeteria", "Enthusiasts", in the hall of the Amosov Hospital , KS gallery) and in China (Hangzhou and Wuxi). Now he works as a freelance artist and gives individual master classes. He works in the technique of etching, levkas, painting and author's techniques.
