Always tried to do every job as best as possible. I thoroughly study the topic I am working on. I have the technique of levakas, oil painting, but I like acrylic. Mosaic, wall paintings - no problem. Just like carving or assemblage.

VALERIE DUVIRAK

He was born on July 9, 1951 in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

He graduated from Kosiv Technical School of Folk Arts (1974), Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1979). Teachers: Yu. Kasyanenko, G. Kolos, D. Andriykanych at KTNHP and Z. Flinta, D. Krvavych, A. Chalyy, V. Ovsiychuk, D. Dovboshynskyi at LDIPDM.
Both institutions with honors. He worked in the monumental workshop of the Ivano-Frankivsk Art and Production Combine. Member of NSHU since 1989 as a painter.

He worked as a restorer of paintings in the Prosvita building, ceiling and wall paintings of the Church of the Holy Intercession in Ivano-Frankivsk, palace paintings and the creation of a sculptural complex of a fountain in Pempovo in Poland. He restored the relief decor of the interiors and exteriors of the railway stations in Halych, Chernivtsi, the Center for Human Reproduction in Ivano-Frankivsk, and the premises of the Polish Theater in Kalush. He painted the ceilings and walls of Lužec Castle in the Czech Republic, where he created 5 more large paintings (2x3 and 2x4 m) on historical themes. He created the battle picture "Defense of Yasnaya Gora from the Turks" for the Goshiv monastery. Designed and executed monumental paintings: the walls of the stairwell of the "Molochne" cafe, walls in schools No. 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 22, 25; PTU No. 8, 16 in Ivano-Frankivsk, painted the walls of the mineral water pumping station in Truskavets, the "Romantyk" club, the walls of the hospital hall in Kalush, carved an iconostasis and painted pictures for the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Kosmach (1999) of the Kosiv district, executed the mosaic panels "Pokrova" for the source of the village. Ugorniki of the Kolomyia district and "The Mother of God" for the chapel of the village. Viktoriv Halytsky district.

The subjects of the works are diverse, but the main ones are the traditions of the native Hutsul region. Folk rites and customs of Boykivshchyna appeared in the works after visiting festivals in the city of Turka, Lviv region. Acquaintance with the Jewish epic gave rise to a whole series of works on the topic of Jewish traditions. In the absence of a ceramic base, a plastic idea was created in wood, often with further finishing with paints.
