Sofiia Holubeva is a Ukrainian interdisciplinary artist living between Lviv and Berlin. Sofiia creates paintings, graphics, performances, installations and videos. She creates site-specific art that combines different media. These are projects where painting often plays a major, but not the only role. The artist works with the topics of memory, digitization, and the impact of technology on society. Sofiia explores the concept of home, family, and connections, often involving relatives in her projects.

Sofia Holubeva is a Ukrainian interdisciplinary artist living between Berlin and Odesa. Since 2023 she has been a guest student at the Berlin University of the Arts (Fine Arts). In 2021, she graduated from the Kyiv National Academy of Arts (Monumental Art) with a master's degree. In 2019, she took a course at the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (Contemporary Art). In 2015 she graduated from the Odesa Art College (Painting). Sofiia is the author of paintings, graphics, performances, installations, and videos. She creates site-specific art that combines different media. These are projects where painting often plays a major, but not the only role.

The artist works with the themes of memory, digitalization, and the impact of technology on society. Sofia explores the concept of home, family, and connections, often involving relatives in her projects. Her practice intersects the personal and the global. Holubeva explores the history of painting and the role this medium can play today.

Since 2022, Sofia has been a part of the Ukrainian Cultural Community team (Berlin), and since 2023, the Common Ground Studio at the Berlin Academy of Arts. The artist has participated in exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Germany, Spain, France, and other countries.
