With the help of art, I strive to change myself. In my work, I try to raise topical issues of our time related to the problems of globalisation, ecology, the clash between the human personality and society, and self-identification. In each work I bring my own reality, a separate story. I invite the viewer to a visual dialogue, urging them to decide whether this is a fake world or a real one. I participate in various joint projects and collaborations. In addition to painting, I work with sculpture and installation, and sometimes I combine these areas with video and sound.
I am in constant search, I believe in art.
Born in 1968 (Dnipro, Ukraine).
From 1983 to 1987, he studied at the Vuchetych Art School in Dnipro (teachers L. Antoniuk, H. Cherneta).
From 1988 to 1994, he studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (studio of easel painting of Professor V. Shatalin)
Since 1990, he has participated in many group and personal exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad.
From 1993 to 1996, he was a member of the artistic association "Cold Vel".
He is a regular participant of the creative groups "Squat on Olehivska" and "AKA".
He lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
His works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
