Tetiana Myalkovska works in the folk-modern style in the techniques of painting on fabric, wood and painting. Creativity is dominated by national tradition and Christian spirituality. The artist boldly uses authentic materials to convey the national idea. She directs her creativity to the study of forgotten traditions and rites of Polissia - elements of forgotten ornaments and original stylizations are used in her drawings. She is a constant participant and initiator of creative events, exhibitions, and projects.
Tatyana Myalkovskaya was born on April 26, 1970 in the village of Porechie, Yavorovsky district, Lviv region (Ukraine).
After graduating from the Novoyavorivskaya secondary school, she entered the Sambir Pedagogical College, where, in parallel with her studies, she worked in the studio of the artist Mikhail Yaremkiv Mikhail.
In 1994 she graduated from Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka (Institute of Arts).
In 2016 she entered the National Pedagogical University. M.P. Drahomanov. After graduating in 2018, she entered the Ukrainian Catholic University UCU, where she also successfully completed her studies.
Since 2002 - Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Teacher. Art therapist. Founder of the author's program and the private art studio "PYATERNYA", the parish art studio at the monastery of St. Basil the Great, head of the NGO "Pyaternya", laureate of the Yov Kondzelevich Prize.
Permanent participant of regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions.
Lives and works in Lutsk.
