Elena Glavenchuk - Ukrainian artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2012. Born in Ukraine (Odessa) in a family of artists.

Elena Glavenchuk demonstrates an expanded visual-substantive field of creativity, from the preservation of traditions to innovations. The main pillars of the creative search are the traditions of the Ukrainian, Odessa art schools and experiments with content and form.

The artist with his works establishes a kind of dialogue with the audience through his art program, the concept of an individual worldview.

One of the features of creativity is the preservation of the tradition of plein-air painting. Harmony of light-color states, enriches the artist’s palette while working in the workshop. Creating a painting in the open air allows you to see and transmit to the viewer the energy of the color of the surrounding world, noticed under the influence of a light-air environment. Elena’s creative work is characterized by fullness of light and air, picturesqueness, special transparency of the palette, integrity.

Elena is an active participant in many art exhibitions, plein-airs, projects and festivals and has certain amount of rewards based on her creative work.

Most of the paintings are created with art oil paints on canvas. The technique and technology of painting are observed, which guarantees the safety of works. Used only high-quality professional materials.

In addition, Elena Glavenchuk is a teacher of visual art at the Odessa Art College named in honor of Mitrofan Borisovich Grekov. Elena teaches students, demonstrating the fusion of reliable visual literacy and creative freedom.

About the artist Elena Glavenchuk

Elena Glavenchuk was born in a family of artists in 1971 in Ukraine in Odessa, where she currently lives and works as a teacher of the highest qualification category of the Odessa Art College named in honor of Mitrofan Borisovich Grekov. Elena teaches students the discipline of Pattern, Painting, Composition.

Since 2012 she is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Since 1988 Elena Glavenchuk has been an active participant in many art exhibitions, plein-airs, projects, festivals. Her works are in private collections, galleries in Ukraine.

Elena is a follower of creation of paintings (plein-air) in the open air, which allows you to see and transfer the energetic colors of nature, which is revealed under the influence of a light-air environment.

Elena’s creative work is characterized by fullness of light and air, picturesqueness, special transparency of the palette, integrity.

To solve visual problems, the artist chooses oil painting on canvas. During the work, the feeling of depth and sonorousness of the paint layer is indescribable.

Exactly with oil paints you can create unusual complex mixtures. Also, oil painting can be multi-layered. From under the final glaze the lower layers shine.

In a bid to become a professional artist, Elena Glavenchuk was educated at the Odessa State Art College n. a. M.B. Grekova and studied at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named in honor of K. D. Ushynsky and received a specialty "Fine Arts", the qualification of a master of teacher education.

All art-activity was formed and located in the same creative space with artists, architects, students, art lovers.

The activities of Elena Glavenchuk have been repeatedly marked by exhibition committees, competition jury, educational, social, charitable, and volunteer organizations.
