Andrew Serebryakov

Andrii Serebriakov is a Ukrainian artist, author of historical and battle paintings.
He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
He was born on June 4, 1966 in Kirovsk, Luhansk region.
He currently lives and works in Kyiv.
In 1982 he entered the Luhansk Art School, class of M.O. Pishchanskyi.
Since 1988, he studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of Painting, studio of the People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, Professor V. Shatalin.
In 1995 he graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts.
Andriy Serebriakov is primarily a master of large thematic paintings dedicated to the most important events in the history of Ukraine, which convey a powerful emotional perception of heroism and courage.
From the artistic point of view, A. Serebryakov's works are perfect examples of modern battle painting with masterfully painted compositions, coloring and images.
A. Serebryakov's paintings have their own distinctive style based on the author's reading and interpretation of the events of Ukrainian military history, combined with the artistic tradition of Ukrainian art and culture in general. All of the artist's works are extremely deep in their spiritual and semantic load, revealing to the viewer the greatness of Ukrainian history, revealing the prominent role of its statesmen and military leaders in the realities of the European world of that time, who defended the independence of their country.

A significant part of the author's oeuvre is made up of works on the theme of the Cossack era.
He collaborates with the National Military History Museum of Ukraine, the Hetmanate Museum, and other museums and institutions in Ukraine.
Since the early 90s, he has participated in art events in Ukraine and abroad. Most of his paintings are kept in private collections in Ukraine, Austria, Canada, China, France, Lithuania, Lithuania, the UAE, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and other countries, as well as in museums and galleries in Ukraine.
Reproductions of his paintings are published in books, magazines, newspapers, and school history textbooks.
Andrii Serebriakov's work is highly professional and publicly recognized.
From the early 90s of the last century to the present day, Andrii Serebriakov has been participating in art events in Ukraine and abroad.
