Roman Bonchuk

Roman Bonchuk is an artist, a designer, and an art restorer. He works with impressionism, realism, surrealism, and abstractionism. He uses various materials: oil, acrylic, watercolor, Indian ink, pastel, gouache, tempera, etc. He likes to experiment. 
"I search for inspiration anywhere, especially in real daily life. Any person, conversation or detail which attracts my attention can tell about a plot of a future picture", - the artist talks about himself. 
He is an author of the biggest painting in Ukraine "Chronicles of Ukraine" (5 х 30 meters). On 150 square meters the artist recreated the whole epochs and depicted many prominent Ukrainians. Bonchuk is a Ukrainian artist and designer, an author of the project of the first Ukrainian Museum of "Heavenly Hundred" in Ivano-Frankivsk. 
Roman Bonchuk is the author of about 20 personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.

Roman Bonchuk was born on the 11th leaf fall, 1980. in Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine), at the birthplace of engineers, mother is an Azerbaijani.
Started at the secondary school No. 1 of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, and finished in 1997. At the same time, having studied at the child's art studio (finishing in 1996), she personally studied painting with Volodymyr Chernyavsky.
In 1998, roci joined the faculty of local education of the Lviv Polytechnic University.
In 1999, having rejected the request for apprenticeship to Harvard University. The basis for the scholarship was published in 1998 a collection of acknowledgment of "48 Rooms Maetka" and watercolors and graphic works from the same exhibition. At Harvard, I studied the history and literature of the 20th century, having listened to a course in the history of Ukrainian literature of the 20th century. Becoming a task for the theatrical group of Volodymyr Dibrovy, playing a role in the p'yesi Dibrovy "The Mitten".
In 2000, turning around from the USA, he transferred to the Carpathian National University. Finished yoga for the specialty "Designer of interiors". At the same time, in support of the successive years, actively practicing design and painting.
Nina is professionally engaged in design and painting.

Roman Bonchuk is the author of about 50 solo exhibitions in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev (“Mystetsky Arsenal”, gallery “Ra”, Embassy of France, National Union of Artists and others); and also behind the cordon: at Nіmechchina, Poland, Great Britain, the library of Harvard University.
