This work is dedicated to Ukrainian artists who were compelled to flee Ukraine after the failed attempt to achieve Ukrainian independence in the XX century. These artists continued to work and create in their new homelands, always adhering to their national identity both on a professional and personal level. Destiny has dispersed them throughout the world (United States, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Switzerland, France, Germany, England, Italy and various other countries) yet they entered the mainstream and participated in all the international artistic movements. This compilation includes young artists of the 20th and 21st century who fled Ukraine either for political reasons or in search of a more stable economical environment.

The pages in this work are presented in alphabetical order. This book has been created to be used as a manual for students as well as to assist professors in their teachings of art and for a any person interested in Ukrainian art in general.
