Ihor Konovalov was born in 1965 in Novyi Buh.
He graduated from the Dnipro Art School (1987) and the Ukrainian Academy of Arts (1993).
He is a member of the famous Kyiv art community "Squat on Olehivska" (1993-2015), and the author of the project "Active Gallery Expedition" (1996-2006).
Participant in numerous solo and group exhibitions.

He lives and works in Kyiv.
