Zygmunt Jan Kozar (February 8, 1937 - October 2, 2003), Polish and Ukrainian Catholic priest, public figure and philanthropist, honorary citizen of the city of Fastov.

On September 8, 1990, Father Zygmunt arrived in Fastov, Kiev region, to begin his work here, and the very next day in the still destroyed church he was conducting the first service of God.

Over time, Fr. Zygmunt Kozar managed not only to restore the Catholic church, but also to establish spiritual and cultural life, charity in the city.

The priest did not live to see the complete restoration of the church in 2004 - Zygmunt Kozar died on October 2, 2003. According to the last will of the deceased, he was buried in the city cemetery of Fastov.
