Kiev-Mohyla Academy is an ancient educational institution in Kiev, founded in 1615 by Peter Mogila. Almost all modern Ukrainian higher educational institutions are, to one degree or another, the spiritual heirs of this institution through the students of the academy, who became the founders of the corresponding new theological, philosophical and scientific schools in these universities.

At present, the Kiev-Mohyla Academy National University is located in the buildings of the historical Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
