Chichkan Leonid

Chichkan Leonid Ilyich (August 21, 1911 - December 13, 1977), Ukrainian artist (student of Alexei Shovkunenko). Since 1952 - lecturer at the Kiev State Art Institute, since 1971 - professor.

Since 1969 - Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.

He painted Carpathian landscapes, still lifes, portraits and genre paintings (mainly from the life of the Hutsuls).
