New Aleksandrovsky Church

Cathedral of St. Alexander (also the Church of St. Alexander, Alexander Church). The oldest Catholic church in Kiev.

The last priest of the church was Sigismund Kwasniewski. In 1937 he was arrested and executed. Since then, the Church of St. Alexander has ceased to function as a temple. Its interior has been rebuilt. Only in 1991 the church was returned to the Roman Catholic community in Kiev in disrepair. In 1990-1994, the Church of St. Alexander was restored.
