Surgut - ART2080

a city in Russia, the administrative center of the Surgut region of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, the unofficial oil capital of Siberia. The city became a center for oil and gas production in the 1960s of the last century. In the 70s, construction of the Tyumen-Tobolsk-Surgut-Novy Urengoy railway began here.
