Taras Melnik - ART2080

Taras Vasilievich Melnik (January 17, 1954), Ukrainian musicologist. In 1989, together with Kirill Stetsenko and other like-minded people, he founded the festival of Ukrainian music «Chervona Ruta» (Chernivtsi), is its permanent director. In 1977, in the fifth year of the conservatory, before the final exams, he was expelled for bourgeois nationalism.
