Brief biographical information

Georgy Ponomarev lives and works in Bila Tserkva (Ukraine).

Was born on November 1, 1965 in the Tambov region (Russia). He moved to Belaya Tserkov at the age of seven with his parents. Here he attended the art studio of Vitaly and Anton Tagansky

After school he graduated from the Kiev Art and Industry College (currently - the Kiev State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after Mikhail Boychuk).

After graduation, he served in the Soviet Army, worked as a designer at the Kiev Advertising and Art Plant (Belotserkovsky District).

Since 1991 he has been a freelance artist
